Sufjan Stevens
I was amazed when I first saw this video for the Sufjan Stevens song “For the Widows in Paradise, For the Fatherless in Ypsilanti.” He is playing one of the most basic folk instruments, the banjo, to amazing effect. You have never heard melodies like this coming from this rustic instrument. Please enjoy the soothing sounds of this song.
