Hair color has always been important to men. No - I’m not talking about the hair on the opposite sex, I mean their own hair. In the golden days, by that I mean pre-1900, it was a sign of distinguishment to have gray or white hair. Of course, many men had this at age 30 considering the lifespan average was 50! Nowadays, men everywhere are doing all they can to avoid gray hair. I don’t have to worry about this for a few years, but I wonder if the attitude change has been for both women and men? We’ll have to go back and ask a woman of the 19th century whether those white wigs made them attracted to guys.

Have you ever noticed how different men and women’s ideas are about luxury items? Whenever a woman gets money, she looks at clothing and jewelry, while the guys like electronic gadgets to enhance their entertainment such as big screen theaters with home theater seating like Tony Soprano. More and more, women are getting interested in men’s things and vice versa. For example, bling!

When guys are single, we tend to hang out more with our own kind, discussing our problems and exchanging tips about the dating world. When we get with a good girl, she begins to occupy our time, but don’t forget the guys that helped you through the tough times, though! Remember to make time for your guy friends to loosen up and help them get the happiness you have. Don’t go out with them too often, because then you will lose your girl’s attention and you may be back to square one! Also, don’t be afraid to invite your girl out with them sometimes. You can be with her and still joke around with friends. This is a good social activity for all.

Racing, especially NASCAR, embody the American male fascination with speed and motoring. However, fans of racing have begun to notice that more and more women are entering the sport at every level and in every class. There were four women competing in a truck race I saw a few weeks ago in a field of sixteen. I am one who enjoys having women around sports. I would also like to make it known that women should be in every sport, if they were good enough. This is easier said than done because males simply are physically stronger in most cases.
