They say you can never have too much insurance coverage. At least that’s what the insurance companies say. I have about a hundred thousand dollars waiting for my family upon my death in order to take care of final expenses. I just don’t see the need to expand this any further to put a financial strain on myself, which is why I throw out all the life insurance offers that come through the mail.

I was just looking into caribbean cruises when I thought about my previously planned trip. You know, I never like flying. All you get while you are up there is a package of peanuts and maybe a drink, if you have a credit card. With a cruise, I’d be able to relax and have fun all the way to my destination. Additionally, I would never have to worry about printing up a planner, because the cruise line will have done it for me. Maybe I will save my pennies and go on a cruise someday.

I find it so funny how my family gets bigger and bigger every year around May. I get bombarded with a bunch of graduation announcements from family members I never knew existed, let alone met. They know you aren’t coming, but they are just hoping you will send a check. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t.
I was over at a friend’s house the other day when he brought up an interesting point in maintaining a strong relationship. I guess it works for some people, though I can’t imagine it. I will tell you guys and let you judge for yourself. He seems to think that you can have one room just for guys. You know, the one with a big screen television and mini-fridge stocked with beer. I can’t imagine a segregated lifestyle, but if your relationship is in troubled waters, it could be worth a shot.
