Is there anything you hate more than your wife or girlfriend sending you to the store for a few choice items? Rarely are these items New York Strip steaks and six pack. More often, you will be sent to the store to get some Weight Watcher’s cookies and some tampons. Where do you even begin to look? You know you don’t want to ask anybody – Guys feel they have failed when they must ask. You wander around the store looking until you find it, only to blush when the cashier needs a price check on that bottle of fruity shampoo. Stores are taking notice and providing guys with a detailed product list and where they can be found.

There is nothing quite like video games for the stressed out guy. Rather than take a roll of quarters to the bar to get down, why not sign on to a video game? Despite controversy, playing a game will not make you into a criminal. If you kill someone because you saw it on Grand Theft Auto, you had some problems prior to picking up the controller. In any event, systems like the Xbox 360 and PS3 allow players worldwide to compete at everything, from sports to shooting to racing games. It is a big investment, but worth every penny. All you need is a TV, high speed internet, and about $600-$1000 to blow to get you off on the right foot.

If you are a guy looking to go out and have a good time, but lack the ability to compete in highly mobile sports, maybe billiards is for you! Pool is a game that doesn’t require you to move anything except a stick with a smooth motion. There is no running, no sliding, no catching, and little hand-eye coordination. Pool is a game made completely of angles and strategy, with emphasis on intelligence. Every shot in pool counts and may be a turn of tides. There are many leagues out there to join, some for fun and others for money. Check out pool sometime! I just made this PSA because everyone knows what pool is, and everyone has played around on a table, but few actually try to learn and compete in the game anymore.

It’s summer and the kids are out of school, so why not take advantage of great summer vacation deals? In the hotter vacation spots, places are just dying to let you take advantage of out-of-season prices. Imagine being able to stay in the finest Florida Condo Hotels for prices less than half of what you’d expect to pay for the winter. Just prepare for short stints outside and plenty of activities in the shade.
