Here is a plea to all makers of drugs and supplements: if you are going to charge me thirty dollars for my wife to use a month of your product, at least give her some diet pills that work. I am so tired of going to the nutrition store every month to try a new product with the same results. Maybe it’s not the pills, though. Maybe it’s the fact that my wife looks ok and is just obsessed with being thin.

This spring, I am planning on putting a bunch of teak patio furniture out on the deck. That way, I can have BBQ get togethers all year round. Last year, I hosted the Super Bowl party for my friends and I. It was terribly hot inside the house and I heard rumblings that my guests wished it was outside, so I caved to peer pressure and got the setup.

I have always been a fan of funny t-shirts. I like the ones that are sarcastic and catch dumb people off guard. However, I am getting to wear them less and less as I become more and more important professionally. Luckily, there is still bowling night. This gives me carte blanche to wear whatever sarcastic or downright offensive shirt I want.

It’s almost spring! That means two things for many guys, for me at least. For one, it means baseball season is just on the horizon. Spring Training will commence before we know it, and then, in April, the regular season will begin. Needless to say I cannot wait for that one. The other aspect of spring that isn’t so fun is the home improvements I have to make. This year, I have to paint the driveway and clean the awnings.

Do you have a big yard with lots of unused opportunity? If you have a big tree or two, it would be a great project to install swing sets. The kids will absolutely love them, and they can be quick and relatively cheap. If you do all the work yourself, you are looking at a few hour job. The only money that will need to be spent is on the raw materials. Home improvement stores and carpenters probably carry good quality swing sets that can be easily installed one weekend. Think about it as a birthday option for an active youngster.

I was watching TV this morning about some ambulance chasers going after entities that caused maliganant mesothelioma to some degree of financial success. I guess it’s no wonder the internet is now full of people ripe to profit on some imaginary disease. I don;t even know what causes this illness nor do I know anyone that has ever had it.

Making ends meet month to month has been a challenge sometimes, while other times it has been easy. It all depends on how many unexpected expenses come up throughout the month. Since I have good credit, I know I can depend on good deals on loans so it is never a problem for me. I also try to save money any way I can, such as searching for quotes on the best car insurance. These little changes save a lot of money over the course of a year. My home could help me out if I had trouble because I could find cheap mortgages to get me through financial troubles.

Many young people are beginning to question the true value of higher education. Facts show it’s true the cost of education is going up while the opportunities it brings are going down. This may spell doom for the academics in this country - but why should we be surprised? The education system is so shoddy all around that it’s no wonder kids would rather enter the workforce than risk spending a fortune on college to have a piece of paper that does not give any more chances. We’ll just have to wait and see what the future holds for academia.
