Grandma

Throughout my life, I have always loved to go to grandma’s house. When I was a little kid, she was just about middle aged so she was still extremely mobile and joined me in many of my childhood adventures. Of course, as the years have gone on she has gotten less and less mobile and flexible. Now, it’s hard for her to even get a bath without pain. That is why I am going over there to install a bath lift sometime in the next week.

Health Insurance

People in other countries who are used to having socialized health care simply refuse to come to America without travel health insurance. I was watching the movie Sicko where some of Michael Moore’s Canadian friends were purchasing health insurance just to go to the United States for a day. I wish we had free health care like most first world countries around the world.

Golf Time

Here in Florida, it’s getting about time for the locals to engage in golf once again. For those of us who can afford it, summer is the best part of the golf season. After all the northerners go back home, the ones that rive up the prices, the local people can get in on the golf game again. I recently have gone out and got ready. I bought some new Titleist golf equipment, including balls and a new driver.

New Computer Era

The days of desktop computer systems are growing more and more obscure. I remember back in the day, getting a new computer entailed getting a huge box into your car and getting it home only to spend hours just physically setting it up. I much enjoy the days of laptop computers better. You bring home a small box, take off the plastic and styrofoam and turn it on for the first time. It’s as simple as that. A new computer is as simple as setting up the initial information.

Diet Months

Here is a plea to all makers of drugs and supplements: if you are going to charge me thirty dollars for my wife to use a month of your product, at least give her some diet pills that work. I am so tired of going to the nutrition store every month to try a new product with the same results. Maybe it’s not the pills, though. Maybe it’s the fact that my wife looks ok and is just obsessed with being thin.
