Do you have a big yard with lots of unused opportunity? If you have a big tree or two, it would be a great project to install swing sets. The kids will absolutely love them, and they can be quick and relatively cheap. If you do all the work yourself, you are looking at a few hour job. The only money that will need to be spent is on the raw materials. Home improvement stores and carpenters probably carry good quality swing sets that can be easily installed one weekend. Think about it as a birthday option for an active youngster.

People are insurance crazy these days. No one can travel anymore without buying a hundred different kinds of insurance. When you buy the plane ticket, you get “insurance” to make sure you can change the flights without penalty. You get car insurance on your rental to cover anything that may happen to it. When traveling abroad, especially to somewhere like the United States which offers no health coverage, folks are now turning to travel insurance. Insurance is the business to get in to - produce nothing, get free money and then make excuses why not to pay.

How many of us have been on an airplane since September 11th? The rules have changed quite a bit, and they continue to change up to this day. The first time I flew post-9/11 was out of West Virginia. The rules were quite strict - no unattended luggage, limited carry ons and plenty of beefed up security. They even prohibited liquids of all kinds. Recently, they have relaxed some of these restrictions. Liquids bought past security are now available to take on board. Shoes are now routinely scanned, but the general level of security is still much higher than before 2001. Read up on the rules if you plan to travel in the air.

It’s not uncommon for guys to have a room of their own in the house. If you have watched TV recently, home improvement stores are appealing to men by offering official “team color” packages of paint to deck their rooms out in official colors of college and professional sports teams. This is usually where the high def TV will eventually end up, as well. There are also other poster options entering the male lexicon, such as these life size “Fatheads” and original movie posters to make guys feel at home in their version of a personal room.

There is a lot of potential in Georgia real estate right now. If you have the money, it is the perfect time to acquire great amounts of Georgia land for sale. The market is low, so buyers will have an easy time turning a profit. If you want to retire and reap the free rewards of land flipping, the southeast is where it’s at and Georgia is at the heart of the thing. If you have a lot of money, throw it all into Georgia real estate. What do you have to lose?

Golf is a game that people of just about all ages can enjoy. Plus, there’s nothing better than an early morning tee time in South Florida! Florida is a mecca for golf, during the summer temperatures are hot, but so are the prices. You can get a round or two in, just bring lots of refreshments! During the winter, prices are higher and the courses are more congested, but the weather is fantastic. In fact, I’m going to the pro shop later to get the new line of Mizuno golf equipment.

Health insurance is such a joke in this country. I can’t believe we are among the most industrialized and prosperous nations in the world, yet we cannot provide our citizens with free health care paid for by taxes. Big business holds all the pursestrings nowadays, and they aren’t about to let it go for the common American citizen without coverage. Canadians are so used to having health care at any time that they take out travel health insurance just to travel to the United States, knowing they will incur huge bills should something happen to them while traveling here. An American visiting Cuba would be treated without question or payment, yet America cannot do this?

I am one of those guys that love nothing more than starting out every morning with the two stimulants of the working class - a cigarette and a cup of coffee. However, Folger’s medium roast just wasn’t doing it for me before. It was then I started getting interested in espresso machines. Back in the day, they were expensive. That meant only getting espresso-based coffee drinks at a place like Starbucks. Nowadays, it’s getting more and more affordable to make that stuff at home.

Though the woman bares the most responsibility in a pregnancy, the man still has some responsibility to make her feel as comfortable as possible during the process. When my wife was pregnant about six years ago, I was hitting up the local gas station all the time to meet her obscure food demands. I also took her shopping at the mall to get new maternity clothing to help her feel good about herself. I am just glad I’m not the one who would end up delivering the child!

It can be almost as stressful and futile as searching for car insurance, but sometimes tech geeks and average folks a like get stuck trying to compare the attributes and prices of many different computers. Personally, I don’t need a great deal of power. I only use the computer to make blog posts and send emails. I don’t need a great video card or sound, just enough to get by. That is why I chose an economical Dell model with extra Dell Memory so I could have multiple applications running at once.
