There has been a new trend in the past few years aimed at lazy men, and while I appreciate them all and would get them with the money, I still think they are going to make us more out of shape. You have things like the Segway running around airports now, meaning cops and security don’t even need to walk. Sure, it makes it faster to get to trouble, but it also means those morning donuts are staying around his waste. Same with automated vacuum cleaners like the Roomba, though this is typically something the wife is happier about.

Many of us have fathers who were alcoholics, and indeed some of us may well be too! Yee-haw! I recently went mudding for the first time, and I highly recommend it to any guy who has a piece of crap truck with decent tires. You can’t believe the primal, childish thrills of rolling a machine that costs thousands of dollars around a mud hole for nothing but sheer kicks. If you live in a rural area or near one and have an old junk vehicle, find a good mud hole and tear it up! Just be sure to be careful not to get caught on private property or get in over your head – literally. Like everything else, mudding in moderation can be a safe, fun activity, Just keep your head on straight!

Though I don’t mean to stereotype and it isn’t universally true, the essential drive and goal systems of men and women are in stark contrast. A guy has crisp visions of the future that may be hard to obtain. We see ourselves as the best in whatever we set out to do. That is why the allure of the executive desks works so well in corporate America. It’s also the reason for this glass ceiling thing. Women just don’t drive as hard (most of the time). Their goals are happier, but more vague and idealistic.
